Spanish Oaks Farm was established in 1984, and became home, including a herd of horses, a herd of barn cats, and a couple of dogs. The farm has produced a number of quality sporthorses, prize winning hay, and hosted (for many years) local horse shows, and pony club activities.
When life changed in 2001, Spanish Oaks Enterprises was born as a “save the farm” project. With some innovative designs, sold retail and wholesale, a small line of accessories grew into a full retail line sold through 4 mobile units and two brick and mortar storefronts. One in Norman, OK, and one in Burleson, TX.
As a lifelong horse lover, and having tried many equestrian disciplines, Katherine Jacoby found that Eventing was great fun, but had no interest in going beyond Training Level. Fox Hunting gained a new group of friends, and many wonderful days in the saddle.
Dressage became the main focus as several wonderful horses moved up the levels. With the purchase of Valentyn, the progress was steadily upward. Valentyn and Katherine gained the remaining scores for the USDF Bronze Medal, and soon gained the Silver Medal as well.
Having had extensive show experience, Katherine found it easy to move into the retail area with a goal of finding quality products at reasonable prices.
The blessings have been many. With help from a wonderful, supportive family and incredible friends, the business continues to grow and now we are expanding to this new website.
